"Blue state bailouts."

That's what Mitch McConnell is calling a bipartisan effort to provide funds to support state and local first responders, teachers and other government workers helping to respond to the coronavirus pandemic.

That's a ridiculous position and it shows how out of touch he is with the crisis our country currently faces. I'm livid.

The virus has affected both red and blue states and we need to do what we can to help. We need to make sure states can keep their workers on the job. Instead, Mitch McConnell is just thinking about November in the hopes of delivering his GOP allies a swift victory at the ballot box.

We cannot let Mitch McConnell win. We need to win these races to put empathy and reason back in the Senate -- if you agree, donate $5 or more right now to flip the Senate this November.
