This is a historic time for our country, and we need to meet the moment. I know for certain Kamala Harris is prepared and ready for the job on day one.

Throughout her career, she has demonstrated integrity, commitment to the rule of law, and dedication to fighting for people – and I’m looking forward to fighting and winning together in North Carolina.

My opponent Mark Robinson and his far-right allies have a dangerous agenda. I have no doubt that if he wins, he would enact a total abortion ban, forcing women to travel out of state for essential reproductive health care; deprive North Carolinians of their voting rights; and strip public schools of the resources they need, keeping teachers underpaid.

Despite the danger he poses to our state, the polls still show Robinson and me locked in a tie. We won’t win without bringing the remaining undecided voters onto our side – and that won’t be easy.

It’s going to take all of us working together to keep my home state blue.
