Loyal supporter, we have an emergency on our hands.
I just stepped out of a very important meeting with our animal care team.
As I write this, our team remains in disaster response mode to survive the coronavirus outbreak. Our mission: keep our residents and team safe and secure.
Really, if we’ve ever needed your help, it’s right now:
- Animal food and medical supplies are depleting, and suppliers are running out of stock fast.
- Local feed stores and vet clinics are being told that they may need to comply with mandatory quarantine closures.
- ARM is struggling to meet the unexpectedly high costs associated with creating a bank of food and supplies overnight.
Friend, we have no choice but to stock up now before it is too late!
“Supplies are flying off of the shelf at an astronomical rate… There is talk of State officials shutting down highways and all deliveries from our suppliers. We may be forced to shut down operations.” - ARM’s feed store owner
To make matters worse, our local vet, the only one in the area, is sending the same urgent message:
“We are going day by day regarding the mandatory closure of the vet clinic during this outbreak. If this happens, we will also be limited to the services we can provide beyond extreme emergencies.”
- ARM’s Vet
In light of this urgency and dilemma, ARM is heeding the advice of its local experts and is working tirelessly to raise funds so that we can purchase a minimum of 60 days on everything that we need to keep our residents safe and healthy.
Our list includes; medications, food, bedding, and more. And looking after over 300 animals is no easy task, but our animals depend on us.
We have created this beautiful sanctuary for the survivors of some of the worst cases of abuse and torture that we investigate. And now all of our residents are at risk!
Like Bo, a survivor of Operation Sunrise.
Bo and her friends were exposed to the most deplorable conditions when we rescued them, and many of them continue to undergo extensive treatments for parasite resistance and compromised immune systems.
For these special cases, we need to ensure that all of their medications, vitamins, and strict nutritional needs are met.
These costs already add up to thousands of dollars every month … and now we need to stock up. But we can only do it with your generous gift.
This is the worst epidemic that we have ever faced, and we have no idea how long it will last or at what cost! But all we can do is prepare and purchase as many supplies as possible.
Friend, we know that you all must bunker down also, but ARM and our animal residents need you now, more than ever.
We are so grateful for any gift that you can spare during this chaotic time. Your gift will help us purchase all of the food and supplies that our sanctuary residents need to continue their uninterrupted care.
Thank you for your generosity during this critical situation.
