Last Sunday, the vibes shifted. Progressive voters are energized in a way they haven’t been in years, and it’s making all kinds of things possible. Our friends in Montana at Big Sky 55+ called and asked if I could travel for a week-long “Whistle Stop Tour” to debunk some of the myths about Social Security ahead of this election. Montana Senator Jon Tester is one of the top GOP targets this cycle.

I’m going across Montana next week to make sure Montana seniors know the TRUTH about Social Security before Election Day. Can you rush a donation to help fund this trip?

Social Security is popular everywhere. It’s a simple, universal program where everyone pays in, and everyone gets something out. Senator Tester was one of our first Senate endorsements this cycle because he’s been a strong voice for Social Security and Medicare. He would have every excuse to act like Joe Manchin and take sacks of money from billionaires to sabotage progressive policy. Instead, Senator Tester has been a stalwart ally. Because of his votes, Medicare is negotiating to lower prescription drug prices, and Republicans weren’t able to hold the debt ceiling hostage.
