Friends,
While so many of us are staying at home to stop the spread of the coronavirus, and Senator Jones is working hard to make sure as many Americans as possible get the support they need to get through this crisis, it is striking to see the contrast between Doug and his opponents.
One of Doug's opponents, Tommy Tuberville, claimed he "wouldn't have a clue" how to deal with the virus, and then doubled down on the radio, saying that "we've shut the country down for a reason that I still haven't figured out." Meanwhile, as usual, Jeff Sessions is too busy looking for someone to blame – so he offers no solutions.
We have one opponent who's in over his head and another whose only solution is more division. Neither provides the kind of leadership we need – in this time or ever.
Doug's working hard right now to make sure as many Americans as possible have the support they need to get through this. From expediting stimulus payments to protecting small businesses, Doug is showing real leadership when we really need it.
While he is hard at work, we still have to make sure we beat Tuberville or Sessions in the fall. Having either one of them in the Senate would be a disaster.
Our data shows we can and will beat either of our opponents, but not without your help. Mitch McConnell is going to throw everything he has at us. We're going to need to be able to stand up for Doug against his attacks.
I know times are tough right now, but Doug really needs your support. If you are able, please consider making a contribution today. [[link removed]]

Joe Trippi
