“I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
Galatians 2:20
Friend,
Oftentimes I can find myself caught up in planning for my life and what’s to come, and that can quickly escalate into a desire for control and power over my life plans.
But, since I gave my life to Jesus, it is no longer my life. I made the decision to give my life to Him because He gave His life for me.
When I remind myself that my life is not my own, I live more freely and can rest in the will of my Father. As upside down as it sounds, living a life that is not my own is an incredible blessing.
His plan for my life is so much greater than what I could imagine or come up with - and I’m just thankful to be walking it out.
