We’re within the margin of error in polls. We’re even in fundraising. Now we have six months to go win this.

We know that so many folks are going through a challenging time right now. If you’d like to hit pause on these emails while this crisis is at its worst, just let us know here.

Team, before I get to our upcoming April fundraising deadline, I want to take a minute to clear something up:

This campaign is no long shot.

The most recent polls have us in a statistical tie with Mitch McConnell, and thanks to this grassroots team, we’ve now completely leveled the playing field in fundraising. That’s incredible—and it’s simply unprecedented for Mitch.

Not only did we pull that off—we did it the right way, one donation at a time. This campaign isn’t propelled by big checks from a few corporate cronies or special interests looking to earn themselves a favor. This campaign is powered by, and belongs to, you.

We’ve pulled even with Mitch and his team. Now, with a little more than six months to go, we’re looking to pull ahead—and pull away. That’s why our April fundraising deadline is so important.

If you’re able to, chip in before our fundraising deadline with any amount you can and let’s send Mitch packing this fall.

April has been our first full month as a 100% virtual campaign—and we’ve been doing our best to keep this operation humming along, all while fending off a flurry of attacks from Mitch and his friends, and doing our best to connect our volunteers with folks in need across Kentucky.

We’ve been forced to change a lot of things. For one, I’m counting even more on online donations today than I ever have. The truth is, Mitch doesn’t have a team like ours—not even close.

We can win this thing—now, let’s go make it happen.

Thank you,
Amy
