The Trump Administration recently announced that they were suspending many crucial environmental rules for businesses due to COVID-19.

That’s right, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has announced that it will stop enforcing environmental safeguards on companies during the COVID-19 crisis. This essentially means companies can now freely pollute our waterways, air, and environment without fear of consequence.

John, I understand that during these difficult times, businesses may need some flexibility, but allowing pollution without limits is not the right solution. As you know, we have a respiratory pandemic on our hands -- additional air pollution is the exact last thing we need!

That’s why I’m asking the Trump administration to reverse this decision to stop enforcing environmental protections on corporations. But I need your help to get this issue the attention it deserves. Will you join me in asking the EPA to resume the enforcement of environmental protections?

Keeping our environmental footprint in check is so important to our quality of life. It affects the water we drink, the air we breathe, and the world we live in. More illness due to extra pollution will only strain our medical system further than it is now, and that’s downright irresponsible during this pandemic where our medical workers are working tirelessly to save lives.
