Chairwoman Stefanik’s Resolution Condemning Kamala Harris’ Role as Border Czar Passes House with 6 Democrats voting in Support!

On Tuesday, Chairwoman Stefanik introduced a resolution condemning Kamala Harris’ role as Joe Biden’s “Border czar,” leading to the gravest national security threat and economic threat facing our nation. The resolution garnered bipartisan support (6 Democrats voted for it!) and was passed by the House of Representatives on Thursday. Despite what you hear from Biden’s cheerleaders in the mainstream media, Americans recognize this is the most catastrophic open border crisis in history. No matter what Congressional district or what state you poll, this is the number one issue for voters in 2024.

Chairwoman Stefanik gave the following statement after Thursday morning’s vote –

"Today my resolution condemning Kamala Harris for her role as Joe Biden’s open border czar passed the House. Let me be clear: Harris and every elected Democrat owns this historic border crisis that has turned every community into a border community. It is time that we return to President Donald Trump’s border security policies that put the safety of American citizens first. At our Northern Border in the Swanton Sector, I have seen firsthand with the Border Patrol the disastrous consequences of Kamala Harris’ failed Far Left open border agenda which caused a historic surge in illegal crossings like we have never seen at our Northern Border before including individuals on the terrorist watchlist. Kamala Harris didn’t just create a national security crisis, but a humanitarian crisis that has endangered the lives of millions. House Republicans will secure the border."

Chairwoman Stefanik Serves on Official Escort Committee for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at Historic Joint Address

Ahead of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s historic Joint Address to Congress, Chairwoman Stefanik served on the Official Escort Committee, welcoming the Prime Minister to the chamber as warmly as the Knesset welcomed Chairwoman Stefanik in May. While Israel defends itself against relentless and vicious Iranian-backed terrorists, House Republicans maintain their ironclad commitment to supporting our most precious ally.

Following the address, Chairwoman Stefanik stated –

"I’m proud to welcome Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to our nation’s Capitol at a time when ensuring strong U.S. support for Israel is more critical than ever. Since Hamas’s barbaric October 7th terrorist attack against Israel it has never been more clear that Israel is serving as a xxxxxx against Iran’s violent aspirations in the Middle East. Prime Minister Netanyahu’s speech is a stark reminder that Israel is currently facing existential threats from Iranian-sponsored proxies on multiple different fronts and the U.S. cannot abandon our ally as they fight against this evil. As I said during my address to the Israeli Knesset, we will not rest until every hostage kidnapped during the horrific October 7th Hamas terrorist attacks is returned home. While the Biden-Harris Administration blocked aid to Israel, eased sanctions on Iran, and paid the world’s leading state sponsor of terror billions of dollars in ransom money and waiver extensions, House Republicans have stood strongly with Israel. America is firmly behind Israel and the Jewish people."

Kamala Harris Refuses to Attend Prime Minister Netanyahu’s Address to Congress or Greet Him

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu received his first slight from the Biden-Harris Administration upon his arrival in Washington, D.C. Tuesday afternoon. Neither the President, Vice President, or Secretary of State Blinken greeted the Prime Minister on the tarmac, a courtesy typically extended to foreign leaders. The second slight came when Vice President Harris announced she would not be attending Netanyahu’s address to Congress. Instead of fulfilling her Constitutional duty as President of the Senate and presiding over the special session, Harris delegated Senator Ben Cardin (MD) to preside as President Pro Tempore for the address.

In response to such snub, Chairwoman Stefanik stated on X –

"Kamala Harris is refusing to attend the Joint Address by Israeli Prime Minister [Netanyahu]. Today’s Democrat Party has turned their back on our most precious ally Israel, instead seeking to appease the Democrat Party’s radical antisemitic base. The American people will hold Kamala Harris and all elected Democrats accountable for their moral bankruptcy on Election Day."

Alison Esposito (Candidate for NY-18) posted the following to X in response to such news:

"With American hostages still being held by Hamas, the Vice President and presumptive Democrat nominee for President thinks it's acceptable NOT to attend Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's address to Congress. Once again the Biden-Harris administration is showing their disdain for our greatest ally in the Middle East."

Far-Left Pro Hamas Radicals Occupy DC

While Prime Minister Netanyahu was delivering his historic remarks to a joint session of Congress, radical left wing mobs, reminiscent of those who occupied college campuses earlier this year, were violently protesting and carrying Hamas flags just steps away from the Capitol Dome. They attacked police officers, destroyed property, and burned the American Flag.

New York lawmakers were swift to condemn these Far Left Pro Hamas radicals:

“Kamala Harris must immediately return to D.C. and tell her supporters to stand down and go home. This kind of conduct is illegal, unacceptable, and a grave affront to every American”

"How did this happen in America? You have the right to protest the way another country wages war. You do not have the right to target, harass, and intimidate another American because of their religion. Joe Biden is Clearly Unfit for Office, Chairwoman Stefanik Calls for Biden to Resign

Joe Biden is unfit to be Commander-in-chief. The American People Know it. The Media knows it. Democrats know it. The White House knows it. Following Joe Biden’s announcement that he was suspending his campaign, Elise stated –

"If Joe Biden can’t run for re-election, he is unable and unfit to serve as President of the United States. He must immediately resign.

The Democrat Party is in absolute free fall for their blatantly corrupt and desperate attempt to cover up the fact that Joe Biden is unfit for office.

Every elected Democrat in America owns Joe Biden’s failed and feckless record causing the border crisis, Bidenflation, and chaos and weakness around the world.

President Trump will win this November to save America."
