I am writing to express my outrage regarding the recent depiction at the Paris Olympics opening ceremony. The choice to have a group of drag queens portray the Lord's Supper is both deeply offensive and inappropriate for such a global and inclusive event.
The Lord's Supper is a sacred and significant event in Christian faith, and using it in this manner is disrespectful to millions of believers around the world. The Olympics are meant to unite people of all backgrounds and beliefs, and this portrayal does not align with the values of respect and unity that the Games represent.
