Team, millions of Americans have lost their jobs or are at risk of losing their jobs -- and with it their health insurance -- as a result of COVID-19. The crisis has also made the situation worse for those who lack employer-based healthcare or are underinsured.

Every American should have access to affordable healthcare -- these times of crisis make that more clear than ever. Our government can take an immediate step to provide some relief: re-open ACA enrollment in all states to allow Americans to get covered. This will save lives.

But Donald Trump -- who Dana's opponent John Katko has endorsed -- is refusing to take this most basic humane measure. His administration even continues to try to overturn the Affordable Care Act in court.

Trump's inaction will have a devastating impact on so many affected by this crisis. And Dana is determined to do all she can to advocate for those without a voice right now.
