Running for office is full-time work
We’re getting closer to our $7,500 end-of-month goal, but we still have a ways to go.
You might be wondering: If Rob’s not up for re-election this year, why are we raising money toward this goal?
Let us explain:
See, running for office is full-time work. You can’t just drop into a community every four years and ask them to vote for you — you have to speak with people, and listen to them; you have to meet people’s needs, and address their concerns.
And Rob loves doing all that! But that constant work means we need a constant influx of donations from grassroots supporters like you to fund it.
And you know Rob: He plans ahead. So each month we set these goals to make sure that we always have the resources we need to keep up our on-the-ground organizing.
If we fall short, it means we won’t be able to talk to all of the voters we’ll need to propel Rob to victory when he needs it.
