Dear Friend, China has been lying about the coronavirus from the very beginning and it’s time that they are exposed. I have had enough, and they still haven’t told the world the truth. They continue to spread communist propaganda to try and blame our country instead. They are reopening wet markets where we believe the virus spread, and our intelligence community is investigating the possibility that the virus originated from a Chinese lab. That’s why last week I introduced a bill to create a special committee to investigate China and the origins of the coronavirus. This committee would be a bipartisan investigation with members of both parties from both the House and the Senate. Nearly all Americans agree that China represents a threat to the United States and we must come together to seek the truth. China put the entire world at risk, and if we’re going to win this fight against the virus then we have to have accurate information about how it all began. And I believe that they should be footing the bill for the hardships that too many Kentuckians have had to endure because of their reckless actions. We have to do everything we can to make sure something like this never happens again. China has been responsible for too many outbreaks and they must be held accountable once and for all for their years of irresponsible behavior. Join my fight to expose China and to get the truth.
