Look, unlike Garcia, I’m not a career politician.

I’ve spent decades serving our community. From my time as NASA chief of staff under President Obama, to creating hundreds of jobs in the Antelope Valley, and prioritizing public health and safety with my work on the wildfire crisis.

I never thought I’d run for Congress. But as I witnessed Garcia’s complete inaction and disregard for our district, I knew I couldn’t stand idly by. Time and again he’s put the far-right reaches of his own party ahead of our needs here at home.

That’s why we have got to win this race. Polling shows that Garcia has never been more vulnerable – his approval rating among voters in the district has plummeted by nearly 10%!
