John: Do you have a moment? This is what’s been on my heart lately.

Dear John,

The last month has been filled with stress and heartache for people all around the world. None of us have lived through anything like the COVID-19 outbreak. During this trying season, I pray that you are feeling God’s nearness — and that you’re experiencing His peace which surpasses all understanding. And I pray that you and yours are remaining healthy and whole!

While the nation continues to confront COVID-19, you and I must remember God’s call to serve the vulnerable. And make no mistake, preborn children remain the most vulnerable of all.

Because of COVID-19, the number of unexpected pregnancies will likely increase over the next several months. And with it, the number of preborn children facing abortion will also increase. Many of these pregnant women are feeling added anxiety and fear because of the outbreak and economic uncertainty.

More than ever, these moms are likely to believe abortion is their only option. Human Coalition provides extensive social work care through our Continuum of Care program, and our care workers are currently overwhelmed with requests to help struggling moms. We expect this demand to be very high for the next several months.
