John, I hate to bother you on the weekend, but this will be quick:
In over 30 years of service in South Florida, I've been through my fair share of election cycles. However, I've never seen anything like what we've seen in the last few weeks.
This election cycle is nothing short of historic — there's no other way to put it. And in the midst of all the noise, I wanted to say this:
Now is an especially important time to support Democratic candidates who are truly dedicated to being a strong voice for the American people and to combatting far-right extremism.
I am honored to support VP Harris as the Democratic Nominee for President, and I'm excited to see the waves of support for her build momentum for other ready-for-change candidates across the country.
Here in South Florida, my team and I are working hard to build a strong foundation of grassroots support for my reelection campaign and maximize our efforts to tell folks about my top priorities for the future: protecting our right to an abortion, contraception and IVF, supporting our working families, and keeping our community safe.
