Here’s what’s on the line: Ty’s opponent is a Trump-endorsed incumbent who’s repeatedly stood against the right to choose (including opposition to IVF treatment protections), voted against capping insulin costs, fought efforts to improve children’s healthcare, and opposes raising the federal minimum wage. His campaign continues to stand with Trump, despite criminal convictions and the GOP’s bleakly dystopian Project 2025.
We only have 100 days to make sure every voter in Mississippi knows that we have an alternative to our current failed leadership. Ty is a Bronze Star Army veteran, a community organizer, and a public interest attorney who has constantly put public service first. In the U.S. Senate, he’ll actually work for us, instead of aiming to gain political points and cushy checks from lobbyists.
The son of a tractor driver, Ty doesn’t come from a wealthy family. He was born and raised in the small town of Rolling Fork, and is a proud son of the Mississippi Delta.
Frustrated by the lack of action from lawmakers on the issues facing people in Mississippi–and believing that the hard-working voters of Mississippi deserve much better–Ty Pinkins decided to run for office: the United States Senate in 2024.
