USO Supporter,
Military supporters like you help us provide service members and military families with the support and recognition they deserve. This month, USO Centers around the world hosted exciting programs and events — and none of these would be possible without you.
And on National Hire a Veteran Day this month, we were there with development services through the USO Transition Program to support our heroes as they prepare for life post-military.
Read on to learn about the ways you are helping provide the best possible support for members of our military and their families.

The USO Celebrates Fourth of July Around the World
|
Fort Moore in Georgia opened its doors for the first time in February, and its inaugural Independence Day celebration this year with a playroom, game room, events and more went a long way toward creating a sense of family and community on post.
At USO Rota in Spain, the local military community came out in full force to celebrate the Fourth of July. Highlights like a temporary patriotic tattoo station and pie-eating contests made guests feel like they were celebrating back at home!
Thank you for helping us celebrate our American independence around the world this Fourth of July!

A Veteran and His Service Dogs Are Supporting Our Service Members Alongside the USO
|
June was PTSD Awareness Month, and the USO is committed to supporting and uplifting service members and military families through every step of their service — through our USO Centers and the USO Canine Program. One U.S. Army veteran, Richard Rice, and his service dogs are regular USO volunteers who are making a difference in the lives of service members. They regularly visit USO Centers like the Warrior Center in Landstuhl, Germany, to bring emotional support to service members on the path to recovery. Learn more about the USO Canine Program.
