RSVP to join Whole Woman's Health CEO, Amy Hagstrom Miller, and see youth activists ask her questions. You can ask her a question too, but you've got to RSVP.

Hey John,

Does it feel like Groundhog Day to you? It does to us. Not just because we’re staying home around the clock - but because anti-abortion politicians are doing everything they can to prevent people from getting abortions. Just like always.

But this Friday at 3:30 Eastern, we’re excited to bring you something a little different: a conversation between youth activists working to ensure abortion care, and Amy Hagstrom Miller, the president and CEO of Whole Woman’s Health and one of the folks who helped bring the lawsuit to keep Texas abortion clinics open.

Register here to join us on Zoom, and even ask Amy a question yourself!

Texas politicians have used COVID-19 to effectively ban abortion access in that state. Texas clinics have had to cancel hundreds upon hundreds of abortion appointments leaving their patients to decide between traveling to another state to seek care during a deadly pandemic, self-managing their care, or carrying an unwanted pregnancy to term.

But we know abortion care is essential care - and it is time-sensitive.

What exactly is at stake as politicians use COVID-19 as an excuse to declare abortion non-essential? What are the possible ramifications of the case before the Supreme Court, June Medical vs. Russo. And most importantly - how do we as a community ensure abortion access when there are so many fighting against us?

Register here to join Advocates for Youth, young activists and Amy Hagstrom Miller for an engaging conversation on Friday, April 24th, at 3:30 PM EST.

I’ll be there, and I hope you will too!

Warmly,

Debra Hauser
