Senate to Vote on Kids Online Safety Act!
The Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA) is headed to the Senate floor for a vote!
After years of tireless advocacy by parents of children harmed by social media and advocates across the nation, the Kids Online Safety Act will be voted on. KOSA prevents social media algorithms from promoting dangerous content and behaviors to children, including bullying, eating disorders, suicidal behaviors, sexual exploitation, and substance abuse.
KOSA is a bipartisan bill that has 69 co-sponsors and is endorsed by 200+ organizations. Additionally, 74% of all Americans agree that social media products should be safer by design and default.

VICTORY Defending Survivors Against Andrew Tate's Harassing Lawsuit The NCOSE Law Center is defending survivors who have been wrongfully sued by Andrew Tate and his brother. The Tate brothers are currently being prosecuted in Romania for sex trafficking and other crimes, and are using frivolous lawsuits in an attempt to intimidate their victims into silence.
But they won't get away with it!
A Florida Court granted our motion to dismiss on behalf of 3 of 4 Defendants in the suit, and dismissed 4 of 8 Claims against the remaining Defendant. This is a huge victory!
The Tate brothers are trying to mislead the public about this loss, saying that the court found one defendant guilty of defamation. This is false!
The fact that the court did not dismiss 4 of the claims against one Defendant does not mean those claims have been found true—it simply means that the Plaintiffs have the opportunity to go to discovery on those claims.
We are very pleased the Court has tossed out the majority of this frivolous lawsuit. If the case proceeds, we look forward to proving the truth of what the Tate brothers have done, and we are confident that ultimately we will succeed and this harassing lawsuit will fail. |

VICTORY: DEFIANCE Act Unanimously Passes Senate! The DEFIANCE Act, a bill that combats computer-generated image-based sexual abuse (commonly referred to as "deepfake pornography") has unanimously passed the Senate!
"Over 90% of all deepfake videos made are nonconsensual sexually explicit images, and women are the targets 9 times out of 10," explains Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, sponsor of the DEFIANCE Act.
The bill creates a path to justice for survivors of computer-generated image-based sexual abuse, allowing them to sue individuals who create, distribute, and collect them.
