In these uncertain times, it is more important than ever to take care of our neighbors, both near and far. That is why we were shocked when the Administration implemented an arbitrary immigration ban this week, affecting thousands of people seeking to legally migrate to the United States.
The President's argument for closing the door to legal immigration is false and misleading. He says this policy will protect American jobs once the economy is re-opened. But immigrants do not take jobs away from native-born Americans; rather, it has consistently been shown that they create jobs in every sector of our economy.
Please consider making a donation to USCRI today. Your support will help us continue serving the refugees and immigrants who are already here, and allow us to keep advocating for those still on their journey.
