Pennsylvania is the birthplace of our democracy. Nearly 250 years ago, our nation’s Founding Fathers traveled to our Commonwealth to sign the Declaration of Independence — a document that demanded justice, equality, and freedom.

Today, I’m proud to continue the fight to ensure every Pennsylvanian is afforded the equality, liberty, and real freedom they deserve.

To me, real freedom means being respected — no matter where you’re from, who you pray to, what you look like, or who you love.

It means the freedom to not just get by, but to thrive in a community full of opportunities and good-paying jobs.

It means the freedom to have your children and grandchildren receive a high-quality public education, no matter what zip code you live in.

And it means the freedom to make your own reproductive health care choices without a radical politician trying to stand in the way.

Real freedom is what I’m fighting for every day as your Governor — and it’s part of the very fabric of our Commonwealth.
