It's been a busy month for Team Logan! We knocked on doors during hot stormy days, visited small-business owners across the district, walked with veterans during the Fourth of July parade, and so much more.
Let me tell you -- I have loved every second of it!
We only have 102 days to #FlipTheFifth -- If we want to make history in Connecticut, we can’t afford to waste even a single day!
Let’s keep the momentum going strong. If we work together, I know we can accomplish anything. |
I want you to join my winning team!
Make history in November by joining Team Logan TODAY. We are looking for high school and college students, or young professionals who can dedicate 15+ hours a week. Help especially needed on Saturday mornings. |
"With the 2024 Paris Olympics officially kicking off Friday, Connecticut will be well represented by more than two dozen athletes competing on the world stage.
Stratford native Alyssa Naeher will be aiming for her third Olympic medal as a member of the U.S. women's soccer team. The 36-year-old goalkeeper has already won bronze in Tokyo in 2020 and played in the Rio Games in 2016.
Greenwich will be represented in women's field hockey by 21-year-old Beth Yeager. The former Sacred Heart student and current Princeton field hockey star was named to the U.S. Women's National Team last June." |

"Connecticut Democrats rallied around Vice President Kamala Harris as the party’s likely nominee for president Sunday after President Joe Biden exited the race, bowing to growing concerns about the 81-year-old candidate’s ability to win and serve a second term in the White House.
With a mix of outright endorsements and praise falling just short of a commitment, the party’s leaders in the state said Harris’ nomination in Chicago was inevitable, given Biden’s endorsement and the desirability to open their convention with clarity, not chaos." |
"A group of House Republicans restored the U.S. flags outside Union Station in Washington, D.C., that were taken down and burned in a demonstration Wednesday protesting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to Congress.
Protesters calling for Netanyahu’s arrest lowered and burned flags outside Union Station on Wednesday and raised smaller Palestinian flags in their place. Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) reposted a video of House Republicans reciting the Pledge of Allegiance outside Union Station after they raised new U.S. flags in Columbus Circle." |
"Vice President Kamala Harris’s record on key issues, as she faces the 2024 general election, is already coming back to haunt House Democrats, per a report. Harris quickly established herself as the presumptive Democratic nominee after President Joe Biden’s sudden departure from the presidential race Sunday, which was aided by a behind-the-scenes pressure campaign from top Democrats.
Since the start of the Biden-Harris administration, more than eleven million illegal aliens have entered the United States, Breitbart News Texas’s Bob Price noted.
Harris “pledged to support the decriminalization of illegal immigration and free health care for illegal immigrants” during her 2020 primary campaign, Price wrote. She was one of the Democrat presidential candidates who raised their hands in support of decriminalizing border crossings during a primary debate in 2019." |
"BUTLER, Pa. — The Secret Service and FBI are investigating the assassination attempt on former President Trump during a rally. The shooter, identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, managed to bring a rifle onto a nearby rooftop, causing chaos. Trump's acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention will now focus on unity following this event. Trump was slightly injured, and several rally attendees were wounded, with one fatality." |
