Last night was a BIG night in more than one way.
First, nearly 200,000 participants on our Answer the Call 2024 Zoom to rally support for VP Kamala Harris and her history making campaign.
Then, we raised $2 MILLION in 120 minutes and are now at $8.5 MILLION (and counting).
Next, we found out we also helped register more than 30,000 new volunteers for the Women for Harris national organizing arm.
FINALLY, after the most invigorating and inspiring 72 hours of my life, Mark Hamill shouted me out on X (again)!
The energy we’re seeing behind this campaign is incredible. And, as we said last night, white women have a particularly important role to play in using our privilege, our platforms, and our networks to elect the first Black female president of the United States. We MUST follow the lead of Black women who have been doing this work for generations. We are so grateful to the women of #WinWithBlackWomen who showed us the way and inspired us to action.
