The Iowa State Auditor's Office released a new report this week that details how Gov. Kim Reynolds paid DOUBLE the amount of taxpayer dollars to Odyssey to administer the Republicans private school voucher disaster.

Not only is this a waste of our tax dollars, but it's a breach of trust between voters and their government. Republicans in the State Senate continue to enable this behavior, but we can stop them in 2024. Can you chip in to flip seats blue in the Iowa State Senate? >>

This week, Auditor Rob Sand published a report explaining exactly what went wrong with Odyssey.

FIRST: Gov. Reynolds and her GOP allies in the State Senate have prioritized their donors and special interests instead of students, parents and teachers who rely on quality public schools.

THEN: Her administration negotiated a massive contract with an out of state, for profit company, and after the contract was finalized, they changed the contract to more than double the amount negotiated to Odyssey . This is taxpayer-funded waste that is costing Iowans for a voucher scheme we didn’t want in the first place.

NOW: We learned about this extreme misuse of funds and we must hold this negligence accountable.
