Folks, we have good news and bad news.

The good news: Our new presumptive Democratic Presidential nominee, Kamala Harris, is a powerful and outspoken voice for abortion rights. Her unapologetic support will bring more attention to the barriers faced by those who live in historically red states.

And the bad news: Republicans are still laser-focused on restricting abortion access. Just take a look at what GOP lawmakers in Louisiana did just a few weeks before the decision dropped:
