*What's
New:*

Last week, I *announced
[link 3]*that I was selected by President
Trump to serve on a historic task force to safely reopen America as we
work to overcome the Coronavirus pandemic and get our economy going
again.

*Why It Matters:*

Working Montanans and their families are
struggling to put food on the table, keep a roof over their heads, and pay
the bills on time because of the burden this crisis has had on jobs
and the economy. We can prioritize our public health and our workers,
families and small businesses by working on a plan to safely reopen our
economy and bring jobs and opportunities back to the folks who need it
most.

What's Next:*

*I look forward to bringing Montana's voice and
concerns to the taskforce. *

*I will be pushing Montana's voice and
concerns, the need to expand testing, my work in the Senate to
accelerate the development and manufacturing of drugs to treat and prevent
the Coronavirus, and my work to bring back drug manufacturing and
medical equipment jobs back to the U.S. We can't be dependent on China and
other nations for our health needs.*

It is an honor to work alongside
President Trump on this historic taskforce. *Let's get this done for
Montana and our nation! *
