Dear Friend,
Exciting news! This week the House of Representatives passed the Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act for fiscal year 2025. This legislation included targeted, federal funding for hard infrastructure projects in the Sixth Congressional District; funds that our office fought to secure to ensure our taxpayer dollars are being used efficiently.

Rather than having these funds go to projects in New York or California, we’re working hard to bring hard infrastructure investment home to Minnesota. The funding we fought to secure will support eight infrastructure projects throughout the Sixth District, enabling essential upgrades to water treatment facilities and providing reliable transportation infrastructure.
As we continue the government funding process and work to rein in reckless spending, we will work to ensure the House of Representatives – not the Senate or the White House – is in charge of the purse strings.
These investments will significantly improve the daily lives of Minnesotans and will drive growth throughout our district. It’s a great first step as we continue to work to bring back additional federal funding for hard infrastructure projects in Minnesota and we look forward to seeing these projects cross the finish line.
Sincerely,
|
