I'm so proud of LeBron James, friend. Not only is he a beloved son of Ohio, the basketball GOAT, and a world-changing humanitarian, but LeBron was also recently picked by his fellow Olympians to be one of the Team USA flag bearers at the Paris Olympics opening ceremony.
Tonight, LeBron will be the first men's basketball player to carry the U.S. flag at the start of the Olympics, and I can't think of a better representative for our country.
LeBron often calls himself "just a kid from Akron," and it's a powerful reminder that EVERY child – from Akron to Columbus to Mansfield to Toledo – can contribute something special to the world if we love and support them.
Providing opportunities for all Americans is one of the reasons I got into public service, and it's what I'll continue to fight for if I win reelection here in Ohio.
Friend, I won't be able to do that without support from folks like you. Will you join our grassroots campaign and help me stand up for all the kids from Akron and the rest of Ohio in the U.S. Senate? Give $5 now to help keep the Senate blue.

Ohio is proud of you, LeBron! Good luck in Paris,
