Today marks the 34th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. This landmark legislation protects voters across the country by requiring state and local governments and elected officials to ensure that people with disabilities have full and equal opportunity to vote in ALL elections.

Did you know that the Americans with Disability Act has secured voters rights in elections by:

📌 Applying provisions to all aspects of voting, including voter registration, voting site selection, and ballot casting, whether on Election Day or during an early voting process.

But more work still needs to be done:

📌 A U.S. Election Assistance Commission study found that 1.95 million voters with disabilities reported that they had some type of difficulty voting in 2020.
