With the shakeup at the top of the Democratic ticket, I’m sure you’ve received an onslaught of fundraising emails. I’ve gotten them, too.
Many of these fundraising appeals are designed to scare you into donating – with exaggerations and fake offers to “match” donations.
I’m here to tell you that’s not how our campaign operates. From the very beginning, this campaign has been powered by and for the people of our CA-27 community.
I don’t see you as an ATM, and I don’t expect everyone reading these emails to donate every time. You’re a key partner in our movement to flip the House.
With that said, our race is really heating up. The closer we get to November’s election, the more attacks we'll be facing from the national GOP – from millions in TV ad reservations to deceitful mail pieces.
So when I ask you to chip in $3 (or any amount you’re comfortable with) please know it directly funds our ability to win this seat. Our community deserves a real leader, and it’s your donations that move us closer to victory.
