Friend, I’ve had the pleasure of working with Vice President Kamala Harris in my time as Lt. Governor of Wisconsin, and she was back in our great state this week for her first rally as an official candidate for President.
When she spoke about her strategy to win this race, she really hit the nail on the head:
“The path to the White House goes through Wisconsin.”
Let that sink in. It’s been 20 years since a presidential candidate won without Wisconsin. Without Wisconsin, there is almost no path to victory.
The Long Run was launched here in Wisconsin. We understand the threat that Trump and the MAGA far-right pose to our nation. And we are working around the clock to support changemaking candidates and get out the vote in every way we can.
In short, we want to make sure that Wisconsin voters deliver the White House to Kamala Harris, and vote to protect our democracy up and down the ballot. But we can’t do that without the help of a grassroots movement.
