John, we know politics can sometimes be frustrating, stuffy, boring, loud — you name it. But with Angus King as our Independent Senator, there are a LOT of wins!

This summer, something cool happened for Maine and for our parks — Angus helped secure funding for Acadia National Park and Hancock County to buy not one, but 23 electric buses to serve park visitors and Hancock County residents!

That means cleaner air and modern buses for us, our visitors, and our seasonal businesses. It's good for our planet and future generations. This grant also expands access to public transportation, ensuring that Hancock County residents can get to work and that Acadia is accessible to all visitors.

That’s pretty cool if you ask us!

John, next week Angus is facing his July fundraising deadline which means that he needs your support before Wednesday at midnight. Angus loves this state and its people, and he’d love to keep up the hard work if you’ll let him. Will you pitch in any amount now? [[link removed]]

We know we’re biased, but Angus King is a different kind of politician. He’s a proud Independent who doesn’t engage with the partisan infighting.

Instead, he’s busy building relationships with people of all backgrounds to achieve the bipartisan solutions that benefit all Maine people. He’s a fighter for reproductive freedom, curbing the cost of living, voting rights, climate action, and Maine’s spectacular parks.

Support Angus and his mission to keep Maine the special place we know and love with a contribution of just $10 or $20 today: [[link removed]]
