I grew up in a town of 400 people. I can tell you that Donald Trump and JD Vance know nothing about how small towns work.
Robber barons like Trump and Vance make money by gutting communities in rural America. In Minnesota, we look out for our neighbors.

MAGA Republicans offer no ideas or solutions. We build roads and bridges. They want to ban books and outlaw reproductive health care like IVF. We say mind your own damn business.

People in small towns respect their neighbors and their choices. They respect who they love. They respect their health care decisions and what books they read.

These guys are just weird, John. 

Project 2025, the extreme right-wing agenda Trump and Vance plan to advance from the White House, is deeply out of step with the values of a majority of Americans. I know it will be rejected in November. But it’s not going to be an easy fight.

Tomorrow, Trump and Vance are coming to Minnesota to launch a three and a half month long blitz to try to flip us red in November. They know that if they succeed, they’ll secure their path to the White House.

As Chair of the Democratic Governors Association, I’m doing everything I can to sound the alarm and rally Democrats to the polls in Minnesota and across the country. But nothing we do is possible without your grassroots support.
