Dear John,

I'm not sure I can put into words just how important
- and how transformative - your recent support has been
for hungry kids across the country.

With schools closed indefinitely and unemployment soaring,
you've helped create a lifeline for millions of kids who are at severe
risk of hunger.

Here are some snapshots of the work you have helped make
possible:

1. Text Line and Food Finder

Just this week, we unveiled a national Food Finder map
where parents and caregivers of hungry kids can find free meals near
them. The map contains tens of thousands of locations where free food
is available to those who need it.

The food finder is at www.nokidhungry.org/help. We
encourage you to pass word of it to anyone who might need help right
now.

The No Kid Hungry Free Meals Finder is made possible
thanks to Nestlé® Pure Life® Purified Water.

In addition, we've adapted our well-known summer
text-for-food line for use now. Anyone can text the word 'FOOD' or
'COMIDA' to 877-877 to get a list of feeding locations near them.

Because of generous people like you, the service is
available in more than 35 states, and Washington, DC. In the last 4
weeks, nearly 70,000 families have texted to find the location and
operating hours of school meal sites near their homes.

2. Emergency Grants

Thanks to support from people like you, No Kid Hungry has
made more than $7.5 million in emergency grants to 284 schools and
organizations that help feed kids in nearly every state. If you're
curious about grants we've made in your state (or anywhere else for
that matter), this map links to grants we have made so far.

3. Public Policy

Government assistance remains the first line of defense
against childhood hunger. And the current crisis is putting a giant
strain on feeding programs like SNAP. Backed by your support, our team
is working with members of Congress, the White House and governors
across the country to make sure relief efforts expand to meet the
rising needs of vulnerable kids and families.

In the weeks ahead, we will continue to report back to
you. It's only through your generosity and compassion that we've been
able to mobilize the way we have to help vulnerable kids. And
America's hungry children have never needed help from people like you
more.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for stepping up for those most
in need during this perilous time.

Please stay safe.

Diane Clifford

Sincerely,

Diane Clifford
Team No Kid Hungry
