Hi there,

When we launched Win the Era PAC a few weeks ago, we explained that we were going to be focused on electing Democrats up and down the ballot.

We’re looking for candidates who are lifting up the issues facing this and subsequent generations; who are committed to building a sense of belonging in our country; who are running pioneering campaigns; who are proposing and supporting meaningful, bold policies; and who model the values and spirit of our campaign.

And we turned to you, Team Pete, for help identifying those candidates. Thousands of you from all across the country wrote in about local, state, and federal candidates who you find motivating and inspiring.

Here are some of the ways you described the candidates you are supporting:

smart and kind!
progressive, hardworking, forward-thinking
stands firmly on the conviction that all people, of all places and backgrounds, of all identities deserve better representation in Congress
is fighting for rural access for the millions us in rural communities without broadband access
strong on progressive issues but also prioritizing working across the aisle to create policies that benefit everyone in their district
pushing for politics that include everyone -- regardless of political leaning, race, gender
full of integrity and courage to support impeachment with facts, based on her background in intelligence, despite being in a purple to red gerrymandered district
service-oriented members of Congress
progressive, minority, immigrant family
smart, genuine, strong on foreign policy
a former public school teacher
warm, genuine, ethical, and has a heart for service
a Navy veteran and an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights
flipping this seat would mean potentially breaking the super-majority in our state
an American who wants to heal her country
speaking for the most vulnerable populations, and she is acting with humble integrity
representing a return to decency while still progressing forward toward fighting key battles like climate change
the type of person to not be discouraged when the going gets tough
forward-thinking, pragmatic, compassionate, and willing to put in the hard work
committed to saving our planet
