Now more than ever, we need the Olympics to remind us of our shared humanity. My family has long-loved the spirit of the Games — its representation of unity and pride. I'm especially taken by the inclusion of the Refugee Team.
The Olympics embodies so many stories of tenacity, grit, and perseverance.
Like Delaney Schnell. Delaney was a silver medalist in the Tokyo Olympics in 2020, and the Yooper qualified for Paris in June to represent our incredible district on Team USA.
She qualified for both individual and synchro events in diving.
Delaney is also in a rigorous graduate program and her fiancé is deployed.
