The Shamelessness Pool Just Keeps Getting Deeper

The 2020 election was irregular.  Not satisfied with mere irregularity, the Democrats have now managed to fill the top spot on their ticket with a woman that has never ever received a vote in a nationwide election – ever.  She did not need to bother with those pesky primaries, not even, unless something changes radically, an irritating floor battle at the convention.  Nope, somehow she has managed to be coronated.  And so, irregularity becomes a coup d’etat.  And now Kamala Harris takes to the campaign trail without a hint of humility or an ounce of shame.  You might think we had hit the bottom of the pool of shamelessness.

Just The Facts…

The amount of noise going on right now is overwhelming.  Events are moving at a breakneck pace and the media just keeps analyzing and analyzing – adding to the noise – not distilling and contextualizing events.  If you feel like you are standing on quicksand, it’s because no one is showing you where the solid ground is.  I think it would be useful to just present a “news outline,” a simple listing of the facts and stories that affect us.

Let’s Get Real

In the host’s Tuesday Fox column, written even though he is on vacation, the host said:

The American Left is nothing if it isn’t ruthless in its drive for political power.

Coming just a sentence after he accused Pelosi, Obama, Harris and “The American Left” of a coup those are truly frightening words.  It has me thinking.
