### **Dem Pretends to Not Know Kamala Harris to Avoid Major Question**
Democratic Representative Emilia Sykes from Ohio dodged inquiries regarding Vice President Kamala Harris' performance on immigration issues while campaigning for reelection in a highly contested congressional district. When confronted outside the Capitol Hill building, Sykes refused to acknowledge Harris' role as 'border czar', despite having publicly endorsed her presidential bid just last weekend.
A reporter posed the initial query, asking if Sykes believed Harris had done well during her tenure overseeing America's borders. However, instead of providing any semblance of accountability, Sykes chose to ignore it altogether.
Undeterred, another attempt at questioning ensued when someone pressed further, demanding a simple yes-or-no response concerning whether Harris performed adequately as border czar. In this instance, Sykes feigned ignorance, claiming, "I don't know who Kamala Harris is."
This charade continued even though being reminded that Harris holds the second-highest position within the US government - serving as Vice-President!
