Redistricting used to be a once-a-decade process. That’s no longer true, John.

For the last ten years, Americans have voted on a different congressional map every election cycle. Every. Single. One. 2016 was different from 2014. 2018 was different from 2016. 2020 was different from 2018. And the same is true going into this year’s election.

That’s why the NDR PAC is working around the clock — year after year — and building for the long-term through our efforts at the ballot box. We’re counting on grassroots support to power the work ahead. [[link removed]]

Since 2022, the single largest driver of change in the maps has been this movement’s victory in Allen v. Milligan before the U.S. Supreme Court, which directly led to more representative maps in Alabama and in Louisiana — states thought to be outside the reach of equal representation.

As a result, even more states will have representative congressional and state legislative maps going into the 2024 election than going into the 2022 midterms.

But John, our work is far from over. Now that we’re in an era of perpetual redistricting, we’re also perpetually counting on grassroots supporters to prevent map manipulation and help ensure free and fair elections.

From protecting the independence of the census and state courts, to returning map drawing power to the people, to holding gerrymandering politicians accountable, the investment you make today will have an immediate impact in November and a lasting one for many years to come.

So please, rush a $5 donation to the NDR PAC to help lead the fair maps movement to victory in 2024 and beyond. [[link removed]]
