We have to start making decisions about what we can spend our funds on — and what we can't.
"What are we going to spend on TV and digital ads?"
"Can we afford to do 4, 5, or 6 pieces of mail?"
"How many more organizers can we hire to knock on doors and call voters?"
These are the questions I'm discussing with my campaign leadership team right now. With less than 7 weeks until our primary and just over 100 days until the General Election, we have to start making decisions about what we can spend our funds on — and what we can't.
We've agreed that to pull off the basics, we need to raise another $10,000 in online grassroots contributions before July is over. To run a campaign we are confident we can win, we need to raise $20,000.
I've always been an overachiever. 😊 So I REALLY want to hit that ideal goal before July is over. Can you help by donating $5 or anything you can spare right now? If just 1% of people reading this email pitch in just a little bit, we’ll reach it!

You might think because Delaware is small, our budget would be too. But running for Congress isn’t cheap.
The cost for mail pieces, organizers, yard signs, and digital and TV ads all add up — especially when you have to buy TV ads in one of the most expensive media markets in the country: Philly!
How big we can go really does depend on you. Can you pitch in $5 or more right now to raise our ideal goal of $20,000? We can't take this primary for granted — my opponent is a former registered Republican who has a history of trying to defeat LGBTQ+ candidates.

Thanks for being on my team!
