I congratulate Joe Biden for making the selfless decision to put his country’s future ahead of himself — something Donald Trump would never do. President Biden is a patriot and a public servant in the truest sense of the words.

Now, looking to November, President Biden has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris. I’m proud to support her, too.

With just over three months to go until Election Day, we Democrats must come together to help Kamala Harris build a campaign that’s strong enough to beat Trump and build on the Biden-Harris Administration’s legacy and agenda:

A strong economy with good-paying jobs.
Compassionate and competent leadership on the global stage.
Reproductive freedom for all.
A strong democracy with accessible and fair elections.
Action on key issues like climate change and gun violence.
