When we filmed our first TV spot of this campaign, I knew immediately what I wanted the message to be.

I grew up right here in Toledo, in the same house I still live in today. I know as well as anyone that our community has seen good times and we've seen hard times. But through it all, we've never stopped fighting for a better future.

I've always gone to work in Congress with the same attitude — because I'm fighting for my home too.

Thanks to that work, we've brought hundreds of millions of dollars in federal investments back to Northwest Ohio.

We're rebuilding our infrastructure, supercharging our manufacturing industries, protecting our Great Lakes environment, and raising wages for working people. We're getting back up, day after day, to build a better future for our Northwest Ohio home.
