Last night, President Joe Biden addressed the nation to discuss his decision to not seek a second term. I appreciate the President for making the decision that he believes is in the best interest of the American people, our country, our national security and humankind.
I am grateful to President Biden for his decades of public service to our nation. He has done a tremendous job as president — leading historic legislative productivity, our nation’s recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, and the charge for a unified country.
I am also proud to endorse Kamala Harris to be our Democratic nominee for President. I believe she is absolutely capable of meeting the moment and becoming our next President of the United States.
Now more than ever, we as Democrats must come together, unified against MAGA extremism. We must show up, work hard, and vote to keep the former President Trump and MAGA extremists out of the White House.
