Woof! Hi friend, this must be the hottest summer we've had in fur-ever. I don't know about you, but I could definitely use a pup-sicle!

According to my mom, these extreme heat waves can be especially dangerous for furry friends like me. That's why we're being extra careful about making sure I stay hydrated and safe when we go on our walks.

Friend, it seems paw-sitively clear to me that Florida is on the front lines of the climate crisis — I can smell it. 

We've had stronger storms and hotter summers, and it's not just dogs and animals who are feeling it. Families across the state are suffering the consequences of these climate-related impacts. These heat waves are putting the lives of pets, like me, and Floridians in danger. 

But here's the su-paw ridiculous thing I heard the other day: My mom's opponent, Rick Scott, banned the use of the term “climate change." And even more paw-ful, he's directly responsible for the devastating impacts we're seeing in our communities.

My mom, Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, is working to save our home. She's told me all about her accomplishments — including protecting the Everglades, the coral reefs along the Keys, and all the other furry friends I love looking at (and maybe chasing after ... ) when we go on our walks. That's why we need her to replace Rick Scott in the Senate. 

I don't mean to hound you, friend, but I'm counting on you to throw my mom a bone and help her reach her $100,000 goal tonight so she can send climate-denying Rick Scott to the doghouse. Paw-lease, will you chip in $5, $25, or anything you can to my mom's campaign?
