April 28: EEO: Removal and Discipline
This webinar will address forum review including Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB) and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). It will cover what is considered an adverse action, defending a proposed adverse action/removal, responding to a proposed adverse action, Douglas Factors overview, and the difference between performance-based discipline and conduct-based discipline.
April 28 and 29: EEO: Reasonable Accommodations
This two-hour webinar covers the EEO definition of disability, the ADA and ADAA, the types of accommodations available, and how to establish an EEO case if the agency fails to provide a reasonable accommodation.
May 4 and 5: EEO: FMLA
This two hour webinar covers FMLA eligibility and qualifications, the employees’ rights and responsibilities, and employer's responsibility.
May 5 and 7: EEO: Hostile Work Environment Harassment and Sexual Harassment
This webinar will take a deep dive into the issues of hostile work environment harassment and sexual harassment. It will cover the essential elements of an allegation of hostile work environment harassment and sexual harassment, agency internal administrative anti-harassment policy and procedures, and best practices for drafting and proving allegations of harassment before the EEOC.
Self-Paced Training: EEO Process and Timelines
This is a self-paced training that you can take at any time that works for your schedule. In this session, you will learn the EEO protected bases, EEO process timelines, the difference between an informal complaint and a formal complaint, the difference between requesting an EEOC hearing and a Final Agency Decision (FAD), and the EEO appeal process.
