We did it! CREW’s grassroots supporters like you stepped up and hit our goal of $100,000 in online donations this month.

First of all: thank you. From all of us at CREW, it means the world that you are behind us and helping power our work for accountability and a more ethical government.

Thanks to your support, we broke last year’s fundraising record for our July match campaign.

• That means more resources to file complaints like the criminal bribery complaint against Trump we sent to the Department of Justice earlier this summer
• That means more resources to track corporate support for insurrectionists and election deniers
• That means more resources to advocate for game changing reforms like a congressional stock trading ban (which just passed out of committee this week!) that will strengthen our democracy over the long term

This has been an incredibly consequential month—and that’s why we increased our match to $100,000 midway through the month to meet the moment. And that’s why we’re increasing our match once again, with the goal of raising $125,000 total online.

If we can raise an additional $25,000 online this month, our generous matching donors will TRIPLE match those funds.

At the beginning of this month, the Supreme Court had not yet granted former presidents sweeping legal immunity and Judge Cannon had not yet dismissed Donald Trump’s classified documents case.

It’s hard to believe just how much has happened this month, and I’m sure you feel the same. But all of these huge developments have only increased the urgency of our work. There’s never been a better time to push for democracy reforms, and there’s never been a more crucial time to demand accountability for Trump and other insurrectionists.

That’s why we’re setting aggressive goals this July, and why we’re asking for your help to achieve them.
