John, we wanted to make sure you didn’t miss this op-ed from Kirsten.
Following the second anniversary of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, Kirsten published this piece about the importance of our continued fight for reproductive rights. You can read it here.
When it comes to women’s rights, Republican extremists like Juan Ciscomani and Donald Trump are steering this country in a terrifying direction.
Ciscomani has voted against abortion pills and access to IVF. Trump has said states should be able to monitor women’s pregnancies. And Trump’s VP pick, JD Vance, supports a national abortion ban with no exceptions — and has said women should stay in abusive marriages.
As Kirsten says in the op-ed, “[t]he government has no place in making these deeply personal decisions that should be left to a woman and her doctor.”
Kirsten is a mom, an environmental attorney, and a former State Legislator who has spent the past six years fighting to restore funding to public schools, protect Arizona's natural resources, and make our communities safer.
She’s ready to take that fight to Washington to find common-sense solutions to the challenges we’re facing here in Arizona's Sixth Congressional District.
