Dear John,

Joe Biden has served our nation with distinction for 48 years. He is a titan of the political world and a true patriot who has improved the lives of so many. I remain grateful for his steadfast dedication to the democratic values that have built America.

He has presided over historically significant legislative achievements.

He should now be applauded and honored for his selfless and thoughtful decision to withdraw from the 2024 Presidential election.

While the President may be taking a step back from his campaign, I fully expect that he will continue to demonstrate remarkable leadership in the Oval Office for the remainder of his term.

Elections are about the future. Kamala Harris at the top of the Democratic ballot demonstrates that Democrats are poised to represent where America is going, not where it has been. Kamala Harris is more than prepared to run a robust campaign and serve effectively as President.

I was proud to endorse Kamala Harris for President in 2020 and am now proud to wholeheartedly endorse her to succeed Joe Biden and lead the Democratic ticket in 2024. I will support this entire ticket with every ounce of energy so we may defeat Donald Trump and his allies.
