Let me tell you about my friend Joe Biden.
He leads with integrity. That's how he won his first Senate race as an underdog, and how he was already known as a statesman in the Senate by the time I got there 25 years ago.
He's a true patriot. Joe Biden has always worked overtime to do right by his family and put his country first.
He is one of America's finest presidents. 15 million new jobs. Capping the cost of insulin. Bringing manufacturing back to our shores. Investing billions to defend against climate change. Any one of these would be the crowning achievement for another administration. But my friend Joe didn't just stop at one -- he reminds us every day that there's more work to do to make America a better, fairer, stronger country.
President Biden is leaving a tremendous legacy, and right now, the best way we can thank him is to protect it.
